The Swasthya Sewa Utsav 3.0, a flagship initiative aimed at enhancing the quality of healthcare delivery in Assam, witnessed a high-level evaluation visit today in Bongaigaon.
The esteemed team of officials was led by Gyanendra Dev Tripathi, IAS, and Principal Secretary of the Revenue & Disaster Management Department, Assam, accompanied by District Commissioner Nabadeep Pathak, Joint Director of Health Services Dr. Balendra Narayan Deka, and the District Programme Manager (DPM) along with the DPMU team.
During the visit, the officials inspected three key healthcare facilities in the district Bongaigaon Civil Hospital, Bidyapur Community Health Centre (CHC), Boitamari Model Hospital
The purpose of the visit was to assess the implementation and impact of Swasthya Sewa Utsav 3.0, ensuring that the program aligns with its objectives of improving healthcare infrastructure, service delivery, and patient satisfaction.
Mr. Gyanendra Dev Tripathi, IAS, emphasized the significance of such initiatives in bridging gaps in healthcare delivery and applauded the dedication of healthcare workers in ensuring accessible and quality medical services for all. The Principal Secretary interacted with patients and healthcare staff to gain firsthand insights into the challenges faced and to ensure their concerns are addressed effectively.
